On 12 and 13th November 2024, we welcomed customers, partners, and industry experts to the H+ Hotel in Bad Soden for the much-anticipated CADISON International Conference (CIC) 2024. Under the theme "The Magic of Data-Driven Engineering - Improved collaboration and consistency in Plant Design," the event highlighted the transformative potential of digitalization, improved collaboration, and enhanced consistency in Plant Designing.

The CIC 2024 took place with a total of 110 participants. These included customers, partners, journalists and potential prospects.

A Celebration of Data-Driven Transformation in Plant Engineering

CIC 2024 marked an important gathering of thought leaders and professionals committed to driving advancements in the Process Industry. With a focus on tackling challenges like sustainability, operational efficiency, and Data integration, attendees gained fresh insights and actionable strategies to enhance their workflows and project outcomes. The event began with a powerful keynote address, setting the tone for two days of learning, and sharing. Throughout the conference, industry experts, CADISON customers, and our fantastic speakers shared their perspectives on leveraging data-driven engineering to streamline operations and improve project outcomes. The consensus that emerged from the discussion was: Digitalization and a consistent database are the key to a successful future. And this applied to all industries and disciplines.

  • Keynote on Industry Trends through Digitalization: Our keynote speaker, a renowned journalist and industry expert, Armin Scheuermann spoke about the challenges, latest trends and opportunities in the Plant Engineering Industry, offering valuable insights on sustainable business practices and the need of digital transformation. A particularly exciting take from the session was that Data-driven engineering is becoming fundamental in implementing sustainability and AI in Plant Engineering.
  • Preview of CADISON’s Upcoming Release: The unveiling of the latest CADISON features generated excitement among attendees, who saw enhancements designed to foster collaboration, data consistency, and seamless design review processes.
  • Product Launch: A major highlight of the event was the launch of our latest solution, the SmartShare Hub, which enables seamless collaboration for design review.
  • Forging New Relations: We also announced our new partnership with Rösberg Engineering, which aims to take the integration of process engineering and process control technology to the next level.
  • Customer Success Stories: Attendees had the chance to hear first-hand accounts of successful completion of Greenfield and Brownfield Plant Design projects particularly in Oil & Gas, Pharma and Chemical sectors.
  • Magic Made Real: In the middle of it all, there was a special moment: the magic of Timothy Kahler, who enchanted the audience with his performance.
  • Interactive Sessions and Knowledge Sharing: All the sessions were conducted in an interactive way to encourage an open exchange of ideas among participants, speakers and customers, sparking new thoughts on overcoming industry pain points through data-driven solutions.
